Older but Not That Wiser ;)

You know the saying ‘older and wiser’? Well, I’m fortunate to celebrate another year, but I can’t say I’ve gotten much smarter, haha. I mentioned this on Instagram, but I recently figured out why my Karaage kept getting charred on the outside while remaining raw on the inside. I had been waiting for the oil to bubble before adding the meat, and when I did, the oil would aggressively splatter. When I shared this with a coworker, they explained that water and oil have different boiling points, and oil’s is much higher, so I shouldn’t have waited for it to boil. That was a first for me, and at least I can say I’ve learned something new this time, haha!

Aside from my learning experience, let’s talk about this gorgeous sequin dress. I’m usually not a fan of the peek-a-boob style, but there’s something about this one that’s both classy and sexy. I love how much fun this dress brings to the table. I can definitely see myself wearing it for many occasions to come, including Christmas. The open back is a nice touch, and anything fitted is a personal favorite of mine. If bright red isn’t your thing, there’s also a more muted red, along with several other colors available! I highly recommend this dress, and I truly feel blessed to have another year feeling fabulous!
