23 Feb Brown x Purple

Who knew brown and purple combinations were so cute together!? Well, I didn’t, but now I do! I’ve never owned a dress in plain brown, but this dress opened my eyes to a new color palette. This dress has been my favorite thing to wear in fall/winter. It is my second year wearing this dress, and I love how tightly it fits my body like a glove but is so comfortable that I could sleep in it. For anything neutral, I usually go for black or white, but now I am discovering a shade of brown and finding out how much I like it 🙂

To push things a little further, I added a slightly oversized plaid blazer to balance the tight bodycon dress. I chose sneakers to dress this fab dress down. The Fendi purple sequin bag was the most fun element added to this outfit, and I love the contrast against deep brown. I think it’s quite a fun-looking outfit, no? The sequin bag is such a fancy-looking bag that I at first thought that the occasions I could use it would be limited. Luckily, it was not the case! Purple surprisingly looks good with many colors, and this Carrie Bradshaw bag spice outfit every time! I can’t wait to experiment with more outfits with this fabulous bag!
