So Prada to Be 30!!

Thriving Thirty is finally here!! I was surprisingly very calm to welcome this big milestone. Changing the first digit to 3 from 2 feels such a big deal even though I’m just a year older. I thought I would be somewhat sad to be 30 feeling old, but I’m happy and at peace. Maybe it’s because I have a really good life. I’m so truly blessed to have an amazing life and I want to enjoy more and more years with my people.

Needless to say, this birthday outfit is a very very special one for me. About almost 2 years ago, I saw an Instagram post by Caroline Daur, fashion influencer in Prada dress, and I thought to myself “this is it; this is perfect.” She was wearing a dress similar to mine, whose voluminous skirt part started right under the chest area. I remember I was pregnant with Katya and I thought this was a super cute roomy dress for my growing belly. However, I had to erase it from my mind since it was about 4k with tax, which was too pricey to purchase. Then, after some time, they brought it back with this version of silhouette. I saved up enough money to buy it from a Prada store, then I luckily found almost a new dress from a pre-loved store called Vestiaries Collective. I felt like I was the most fortunate girl in the world! Because I was able to save over $1000, I set aside some more money to get this magnificent Prada bag to go with the dress as well! I’m so Prada of myself for my saving skill hehe (get it?)

I kept everything black and sequin to deliver a chic drama. I love my Ted Baker headband which happened to be a perfect match for my Prada bag 😉 Prada actually came out with a sequin headband just like Ted Baker’s that is absolutely gorgeous but, price was not cute ($1170 to be exact. yikes.)

With this dream outfit that is simple but powerful, I’m ready to conquer what I set to do in my 30th year. I have so much to look forward to; growth of my career, relationships and Katya. So happy and ready to thrive in my 30’s 😉 Stay tuned for another birthday post!
