26 Nov Happy Thanksgiving Weekend!
Hey hey hey! How are you doing and what are you doing for this long weekend? I have just started my new job on November 16th, and I love it so far! It will be even busier as I am learning my new role/responsibility, but I am over the moon! This long weekend came at the right time to take in all the excitement and to adjust to the unfamiliar territory in my career.
We spent Thanksgiving Day just the three of us chilling in our house, and took out Chinese food for dinner. Nothing special but I got much needed rest. On my favorite holiday (not an official one, but it should be), Black Friday, I spent hours and hours on the internet to score a couple of things from my wish list. Despite the worry of my wish list selling out, I was so happy that I got everything I was planning to buy! Also, I got matching Christmas PJ for our holiday card photoshoot! Today, we went to my best friend’s daughter’s 2nd birthday party where Katya was so happy to run around in their big yard. Then, we went home to put the Christmas tree up! That immediately put us into the holiday, so we will start watching Christmas movies tonight! When do you guys put the tree up? Right after Halloween? After Thanksgiving? Or wait till December? I am curious! Do let me know!
