17 Nov The First Birthday Attire
As I promised last week, today I want to share what we wore to Katya’s 1st birthday! Starting with the birthday girl, I was looking for a comfy, not restricting, but screaming “main character” dress. Every time I need something special for my girl, I look at Etsy first. Lucky enough for me, I found the super adorable pink tutu dress that was made of very stretchy and soft material. What’s even more special about this dress is there were flower ruffles going down on one side of the back. It gives a little drama to make her stand up (but not too loud lol). She looked like a cupcake at her party, but toward the end of the day, she became a mop that was cleaning the floor haha 😉
As for my outfit, I wanted to be complimentary towards her look. Just like Katya is the leading role, and I am the supporting role 🙂 Because she was puffy and in baby pink, I wanted to wear something tight and baby blue. To link our looks, l kept both of our outfits girly by choosing materials like tutu, lace and something sparkle. Self-portrait always has something special that I am looking for, and this one was no exception. I’m absolutely in love with this dress, and I will for sure wear it many more times!
So here you have it! Hope you enjoy this post, and would love to know your thoughts! What would you wear for your baby’s first birthday?
