20 Jun First Father’s Day to Erik!

Happy Father’s Day! I know that Erik couldn’t wait for it even though he didn’t make it obvious 🙂  I was also excited to celebrate his fatherhood and I wanted to make him feel special.  To surprise him, I didn’t tell him what we were doing on Father’s Day ahead of time. Instead, I actually told him that since it was his day, he got to spend the entire day with Katya while I went on a shopping trip all day haha 😉 I think he knew it was a joke though.

The day before Father’s Day, I told him that he was going to golf with his cousin’s boyfriend and his family at Castlewood country club. He was stoked about Castlewood since he was never able to golf there before without the membership. I remembered that he mentioned it would be an awesome day if he could just play golf on Father’s Day, so I planned the day 2 week before by calling his cousin. Erik was surprised and pretty happy about that, so I was satisfied 🙂

On the day, I just cooked breakfast for him before he went golfing and gifted him golf balls that have Katya’s face printed on them. They were from Personal Creations and you can get them here 🙂 When he was back from golfing, he told me he had already lost one ball out there and he was teased for hitting Katya’s face lol.  After golf, we went out to The Veranda to walk around and get dinner at Yard House. I got lobster garlic noodles and it was sooooo good. After dinner, I got a crepe for dessert and we went home to watch “007 no time to die.” It was a pretty chill day and I was happy that he had a good day!

Btw, we got Katya’s Father’s Day outfit from Erik’s mom. Katya also wore the Mother’s Day version of onesie on Mother’s Day (check the post here). I’m such a basic mom to dress her up like that haha. Hope you all had a great day celebrating fatherhood!
