Maternity Photoshoot in Tahoe

Last week, I talked about maternity photoshoot that I did just a week before Katya was born. But I did photoshoot after that as well, and this time was only 5 days before!! Of course, I didn’t know she would come this quick back then! I guess she really wanted to meet us haha 😉

It was snowing (or should I say blizzarding) that day and it was freezing! We were shaking from cold so, we took the family pictures in less than 10 min. I could barely keep my eyes open and poor Erik was only wearing white shirts. Fortunately, Annie had a big jacket in her car so Erik wore that immediately. Glad she had the jacket 🙂

It has been my dream to take photos in snow and in unexpected way, my dream came true. We didn’t plan this snowy picture and originally, we wanted photos to be taken in the field during the golden hour. We dressed for sunshining Autumn weather so we were definitely not ready to do photoshoot in snowstorm. But I am glad we rallied out and got some shots!  I will share some of my favorite from the shoot here!

Outfit & item detail: White sweater midi dress by Fourteenth Place (exact in tan here, similar here), White ankle boots by Marc Fisher (exact here), Gold knot earrings from Nordstrom (similar here), Baby ivory knitted cable slippers by Carter’s (exact here).

To magical pregnancy,

Fatima
