Christmas Décor

Christmas season is upon us! It is our first Christmas in our first house so I am super excited!  I was looking forward to decorating for Christmas since we started saving money to buy our home! We didn’t own any Christmas decoration except ornaments that we have been collecting from places we visited over the year.

There were many decorations to get so, I mostly got the decoration from Target since they are affordable and stylish. My little from sorority got me our first Christmas tree for only $15! She told me she found a brand-new tree in neighbor app and asked me if I wanted. Tree is often on sale at store, but it is never this good price. The tree was already pre-lit so it was also perfect for me.  Next year, I want to get few more tree; one for Katerina, and another one for my Starbucks ornaments 😉 For this year’s tree, I went for Nordic theme. I saw this trend on retailer like Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, and Target and I was totally sold on that. To decorate the tree, I got ornaments and ribbon from Target. I always love the red and metallic color scheme for Christmas tree, and I was happy how it tuned out!

To match with red theme in the house, I wanted to decorate the outside in the same theme as well. I bought 3 pre-lit garlands from Hobby Lobby and wrapped them with same red ribbon I wrapped around our tree. It took me about 2 hours to tie them together using ornament hooks. I ordered pre-lit wreath with big red bow to go with the garlands but the package went missing. So sad but I will get prettier wreath next year  🙂

Plaid is my absolutely favorite pattern for this season. I bought 3 different plaid pattern picture frames. I got 2 each, 6 total and I am planning to hang on the wall next year.  This year I only used 2 frames as you can see in the picture. Cannot wait to print out Katya’s pics for these! My most favorite purchase is faux fur throw from Pottery Barn. It’s super smooth like butter and so sophisticated! I want it in different color and bigger size! It is worth the price and I 100% recommend this!

I will share products detail below! I am wondering how you are decorating your tree this year! Let me know in the comment section!
