31 Oct Katya’s First Halloween

Halloween is here! This is something that I’ve always dreamt to drees up with my kids! However, I was not ready for Katerina’s first Halloween outfit since she came 3 weeks early by surprise. I thought I would be still pregnant on the day of Halloween so, I only planned my mummy outfit to go with a fixed caption “mummy to be” like mommy to be 😉 Even though Katerina came unexpectedly before the Halloween, I could not pass up her first Halloween dress up opportunity. 

On the day of Halloween, I was recovering from C-section delivery. Since I was not allowed to leave the hospital, I asked my husband to go get gauze bandage rolls and bunch of KitKat. I wrapped the gauze around Katya’s swaddled body to go with my costume and called her “mini mum-me” like “mini me.”  Considering that it was totally a last-minute production, I think it turned out to be okay 🙂 It was better than nothing imo!

KitKat is one of many nicknames that Katerina has. Since KitKat is my favorite chocolate, I thought why not take pictures of her next to KitKat and eat them afterwards to kill two birds with one stone. Katerina looks so delicious next to KitKat and I love these pictures of her 😉 She is three days old and already showing us many facial expressions. Cannot wait to see more of them!
