30 Sep Gucci Dionysus GG Blooms Bag

Very exciting purchase of the year: my very first Gucci bag!! I have been wanting this bag for few years now. I remember this blooms bag first came out years ago in three different sizes and had huge popularity among influencers. I was madly in love with this blooms bag at first sight. However, I was keep going back and forth thinking if this was too trendy and has no longevity. Dionysus, the style of the bag, came in many different color, material, size and embellishment. The most popular Dionysus bag was the plain logo one which was the blooms bag minus the floral print. The Plain one is more classic staple piece which can be paired with more outfits, however, I just loved blooms print more regardless of versatility.

When I was ready to claim blooms bag mine, unfortunately, store stopped carrying it. I regretted that I waited too long. Fast forward the time, while we were on our babymoon in Hawaii, we visited Ala Moana shopping center few times. I spotted the blooms bag immediately and walked into Gucci store to try it on. The sales person who had the same name as my mom (must be a sign haha) told us that the bag had Hawaii price which was about $200-$300 cheaper than the mainland. Plus, sales tax was way lower than California! You can guess my excitement at the point 😉 Even more exciting, after Erik heard that same bag costed cheaper in Hawaii, he offered me to pay half (which ended up way more than half lol). You have to understand how stingy (or should I say responsibly money conscious) he is when it comes to spending any dollar. It was unbelievable that I had to triple check he really meant what he said haha. Anyways, I took my sweet and generous husband’s offer, and we took this lovely bag home! THANK YOU, ERIK ♡

We knew we were having a baby girl when we bought this bag, and this bag reminded me of her name which we decided during our babymoon.
