Prego in Pink

Pregnancy brain is sooooo real honey!! I am so forgetful to the point that I have to remind myself to check the to do list. Even though I thought I was focusing, in the next minutes, my mind went somewhere else and I would lose focus. Usually, I am very good at keeping my focus on one thing for long period of time that sometimes so many hours have passed without me realizing. My attention span is so ridiculously short now, and I am confused what is happening to me.

I knew pregnancy brain was the very real thing when I smashed my side mirror into a pole one morning. You can see the picture on my Instagram if you are curious 😉 Erik and I were planning to make a trip to Home Depot for our house project that day. I had my car parked on covered parking spot in front of our house, and I hit a pole when I was backing up. I don’t know why I was turning my car early when I should have backed car up straight lol. I heard really loud noise while backing up, and I immediately knew I screwed something up. It was so devastating to see my car damaged and spend unplanned money to fix my side mirror, but I was so glad nobody was hurt in this accident.

When I found out I was having a baby girl, I knew I wanted to take photo with her in pink outfit 🙂 Yes, it is so basic, but I love dressing my bump in pink for my little lady. When I was dressing up for this shoot, my pregnancy brain kicked in (of course), which resulted in my sparkly pins to be upside down & backwards. This reminded me of the iconic scene from Mean Girls where Karen Smith spelled “K” with gems on her backwards haha. Regardless of this mistake, I love this outfit for making me feel powerful 😉 Wearing this pink suit made me want to celebrate my body which created this miracle and let me carry our baby girl! Hope you can tell my excitement!
