This is the third post about engagement photoshoot with Ashley. In April, I made 2 posts about our engagement photoshoot and both of them were taken at Legion of Honors (Check two previous posts here and here). After we took two outfits worth of pictures, we moved to second location, Sutro Baths. This was our first time going there, and from Legion of Honors, it only took 8min by driving. There are parking lots nearby and it was packed with cars. When we found a parking space, I had to change into third outfit in my car (which I always do on photoshoot day), and there were many people at parking lot. Erik was surprised how I didn’t even hastate to change outfit in my car and blocking me for my privacy haha. After the quick outfit change, Ashley and we were trying to find the picturesque spot for the shoot. I have seen many beautiful pictures taken there on Instagram, but unexpectedly the place was covered with graffiti, and it was different from what I imagined. Regardless of the surprise, we manage to find good spot for pictures. To go down there, it was very steep and I had to take off my wedge heels to not roll down like a potato. There were many people there to hike. I guess there was also a trail. When we finally got to the spot, we realized that there was very strong splash of water due to ocean wave hitting against wall. I saw a couple got soaking wet because of that. To get to the spot that we wanted to stand on, we had to walk on narrow space and some spot was missing. I had to be barefoot, because If I misstep, there is no doubt but I would fall. My dress was long in the back, so it got wet very fast, but I was so determined to get a shot! It was definitely an experience. Also, Ashley had to stand on very far from us and we couldn’t hear what she was saying with the water splashing near us. Before we head there, she told us what we should do. In the end, I love the pictures and how we are reflected in the water. I recommend this spot also to have your pictures taken, but be ready to get wet and your hair frizzy 😉

This outfit is my absolute favorite! This dress is by Emilio Pucci and I remember when I watched the runway of Spring/Summer 2015, I thought this dress worn by Natasha Poly was super dreamy! (watch the runway here). This dress is very light and when I tried this on, it made me felt very beautiful! I found this dress on Tradesy, the pre-loved online store when I was casually scrolling thru the site. I couldn’t believe my luck of finding this! I did photoshoot with dress before and I cannot wait to post about that as well.
