15 Apr Sassy Tweed
As I mentioned on my last post, I want to share my second outfit with my favorite tweed jacket. I wanted to wear this jacket edgy way this time, and style is very different from my first outfit. (My first outfit post with tweed jacket is here.) Tweed itself is very neutral, so it will match with so many items that you already have in your closet. You can keep the neutral tone throughout the outfit or you can add colors. In my Sweet tweed post, my outfit was all black and white except my bag in tan color. For this post, I added red, the pop of the color to make it bolder. I will update you more outfit with this jacket in the future!
The Rolling Stones logo is one of the famous symbols of Rock ‘n’ Roll. I think most of us have seen this iconic tongue out image. I love shiny item, so this T-shirts that mocks it is very rock but still very me (no tongue is out though). To add more pop of red yet keep it classy, I added iconic Pigalle (might be Kate) pumps from Louboutin. Red could be very “to your face” and I know some people avoid wearing the color. For me, however, I think red is color of confidence and it make us look cooler. People who doesn’t like to wear red usually say red is not classy color which choose what to coordinate with. Red is one of the three primary color. And red can be matched with many different colors whether it is neutral or not. If you are afraid to wear red, first try with small item like accessory. You can even wear red lipsticks instead. For this outfit, I injected lots of red item including T-shirts, bag, lipstick, and bottom of my shoes. I hope I can inspire you to wear red confidently with this post 😉
