I’m 27!!

On February 10th, I turned three cubed! I felt like it was just yesterday when I cerebrated turning 26, so I can’t believe I’m already 27. 10 years ago, I couldn’t imagine what was like to be 27 years old. Now that I am 27, I can say that I haven’t change much. I still have the same personality and ambition. On the other hand, I definitely have a better idea about life and better fashion sense (thank god) lol.

Every year I get so excited about my birthday, and honestly my birthday should be America’s national holiday. In Japan, my birthday was a day before the national holiday (National Foundation day), so usually when my birthday was on weekday, my friends and I went out on February 11th. This year, my birthday was Monday (the worst day of the week in my opinion), and I celebrated my birthday low key. I went to my work, and I got birthday card from my co works and when I get home around 8pm, there was steak prepared for me and ate them with Erik. I also got a cupcake and gifts from my parents in laws. Very cute 😉 On Monday, this is all I need! My Monday is definitely better because of them. This year, I requested cash from my husband, Erik, so I could use it toward our wedding 🙂 I will use it to buy my wedding shoes 😉 Thank you babe!

I did the photoshoot a week before my birthday. It was a super windy day, so working with the balloons were quite hard. Regardless of difficulties, we manage to get some pics like we always do! I originally started to have photoshoot session because of my birthday. My first photoshoot was for my 24th birthday. I continued my tradition till now, and this is already my 4th year 🙂 I am not planning to stop this tradition. Every opportunity I get to dress up fabulously I will do it. This year I went little more extra by wearing a dress that has a train. I love gold, and this thick fabric is very gorgeous! On the different topic, one thing I always make a mistake when I do photoshoot is to leave my hair tie on my wrist. I feel like I want to edit to erase the hair tie from the shots in my spare time (motivation to learn photoshop skill) or reshoot the dress in different photoshoot. I should add “take off hair tie for photoshoot” as a resolution this year! Anyways, cheers to photoshoot and being extra for birthday <3
