It’s officially pumpkin spice latte season in Starbucks and time to decorate for Halloween. Even though fall is not my favorite season, there are few things I look forward to in Fall. I like to order the cozy hot drinks in every café that I go to because in Fall, hot drinks taste extra delicious. I LOVE driving thru scenery of changing colored leaves while listening to Jazz, Bossa Nova or anything calming and mellow. I also look forward to checking celebrities’ expensive and on point Halloween outfits and I of course cannot miss Black Friday aka shopaholics holiday.  As a fall outfits, I am into flowy dress with sleeves, thigh high boots, preppy jackets, and cute hats.

I personally more inspired in spring or summer when it comes to fashion because it is more one and done type of deal. Fall and Winter outfits could be stressful for me because of layering and I do not like bulky looks, so good color coordination with fabrics that can still sliming is very important. When I shop for Fall, I always think if they are good for layering or not. Also, I started to pay attention more on fabric and quality of clothes since I want to wear those basic layerable garments for many years to come.  Sometimes I find that “what you pay is what you get “so true. I am slowly moving toward building high quality garments collection in my wardrobe so that I don’t need to buy basic sweater every fall because it is no longer looking good. Instead, buying one classic cashmere sweater that can last many years is more cost effective and sophisticated. I love this outfit from last year because it shows my figure but it is warm and cozy for the weather in Bay Area.

My fiddler hat is from Zara and I like this one in black from urban outfitter. Also, this one from Asos reminds me of Chanel blazer! Love it! My suede steel color dress is from BCBG Maxazria (similar one from Neiman Marcus here and looser fit one form Nordstrom here). This black turtleneck is from Uniqlo and I have been wearing this at least 6 years now (similar one here). My bag is from YSL (exact one here) and my boots are from Bliss which is available only in California so I will link my DREAM boots from Stuart Weitzman here.
